One morning, I woke up and asked myself “What do I want my legacy to be?”
My name is Leona Lewis, I was born and raised in the beautiful San Francisco Bay Area. This morning was very special, as I was 60 days clean and sober after the loss of both of my parents back to back and long depression sent me into a dark place I was determined to climb out of. I wanted my children to be proud of me. I wanted to be proud of me.
I was always a creative child, finding happiness in drawing. My life took me in another direction, but my love for creating stayed. Throughout my teen and adult years, one thing that always brought me joy was scents, especially body oils. I was always complimented by both men and women on how delightful I smelled, and always looked for new scents to try out. That morning, something clicked – this is my legacy!
I threw myself into learning about scent making, exploring and creating my signature styles and, as everyone who tried my creations wanted more, putting together a plan to grow my business. Sweet Allure Scents is the result.
Scents are visceral. They hit us below the conscious level, go straight to our core, making us feel – happiness, romance, seduction, uplift, confidence. Scents become a part of our identity, and I want you to feel unique, uplifted and irresistible with mine. My dream is to grow my business and give back to the world and my community, to bring sparkle and joy to people who buy my scents, and support to mothers, daughters and sisters who are struggling to lift themselves from the same dark places I’ve been in.
